WHY WE CREATED A FUND

We chose to establish a Fund—not a one-time donation—because we want to create an impact that does not depend on a single campaign or a specific time of year.
The DORA Gender Rights Fund is designed to grow alongside DORA and remain active even during the stages when a young company must operate thoughtfully and sustainably.

HOW THE FUND IS FINANCED

Our model is simple and transparent. DORA contributes a guaranteed minimum of €1,000 to the Fund each year, ensuring that support never stops. On top of this base contribution, we allocate 1% of net revenue (excluding VAT, returns, and discounts), making our impact proportional to our growth. When the financial year closes with a profit, we also contribute an additional 5% of Earnings Before Taxes (EBT). This approach allows our commitment to remain constant while enabling us to do more whenever we can.

HOW WE ALLOCATE THE FUND (70/20/10)

To ensure our support is genuinely meaningful—not merely symbolic—we follow a structured allocation model. 70% of the Fund is allocated to two core organizations through two-year partnerships, providing continuity and stability for long-term projects. Over time, we aim to expand and rotate this core network, allowing our commitment to become increasingly widespread, recognizing impactful organizations and creating opportunities for a growing number of initiatives—today in Italy, and tomorrow across Europe and beyond. 20% of the Fund is dedicated to micro-grants for smaller organizations and community-based projects operating at a local level. The remaining 10%is reserved for urgent interventions, allowing us to respond quickly when immediate support is needed.

HOW WE SELECT ORGANIZATIONS AND PROJECTS

We support organizations that actively advance gender rights and provide meaningful assistance to transgender and non-binary peoples. Priority is given to transparent organizations that can clearly report their objectives, activities, and outcomes through measurable and verifiable impact.

For us, transparency is not an afterthought—it is an essential part of our commitment. Each year, we will publish our Impact Report, providing clear information about: Activities carried out throughout the year; Financial contributions and allocation amounts; Organizations and projects supported; Results achieved; Key impact indicators and performance metrics.
