1. Redistributing Value Through the DORA Gender Rights Fund, we allocate 1% of our revenue and 5% of our profits to advancing gender rights, supporting high-impact organizations and local initiatives, and actively helping those facing difficult circumstances.

Long-Term Partnerships

Through two-year partnerships, we allocate 70% of the fund to two organizations working to protect and advance the rights of transgender and non-binary people, helping address the root causes of discrimination.

We dedicate 20% of the fund to small organizations and community-based projects that provide tangible support to transgender and non-binary people through high-impact local initiatives, including help desks, educational programs, legal and psychological support, empowerment activities, and community-based interventions. We reserve 10% of the fund to ensure we are always ready to support those facing emergency situations, so that the courage to be oneself is never overshadowed by the fear of being left alone.

DORA will always choose respectful and inclusive language, carefully avoiding discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, or disability. Italian is our native language, but you will often see us communicate in English as well. Because English nouns, verbs, and adjectives are generally not gendered, it allows us to speak to everyone more inclusively.

We create spaces for listening, learning, and meaningful conversations through events and workshops. Together with industry professionals, we explore topics such as skincare, identity, and inclusion, sharing experiences, knowledge, and perspectives that help build a more understanding and supportive community.

OUR COMMITMENT TO THE PLANET

Every action leaves a footprint. We would like ours to be positive—or none at all. We are aware of the environmental impact of the cosmetics industry, as well as our own. While we strive to work with partners and suppliers that meet ESG standards and use sustainable, recyclable packaging, it is not always possible to completely erase the traces of our presence. For this reason, we are committed to taking concrete action to give back to the Planet everything it generously provides.

1. Empowering Women in Tanzania Through our partnership with ZeroCO2, we donate 1% of our revenue to reforestation projects in the Arusha region of Tanzania, helping combat desertification while empowering Maasai women.

Fighting Desertification

We support the creation of balanced agroforestry systems aimed at soil conservation and biodiversity restoration, helping counter the spread of desertification. Our goal for 2026 is to plant at least 100 trees.

Supporting the Local Economy

The Arusha region is home primarily to rural Maasai communities whose livelihoods depend on agriculture and livestock farming. Today, reforestation is one of the few effective tools available to help these communities adapt to climate change. Trees protect the soil, maintain its productivity, and help regulate the water cycle.

Supporting Women

We plant trees in Tanzania to provide Maasai women's communities with the tools they need to combat desertification and achieve greater economic independence.

2. Taking Action Ourselves Our commitment looks toward the future, but it starts here and now—in our streets, our public spaces, and our beaches, as well as in our constant desire to improve. We strive to transform the fundamental values of respect, equality, and peace into meaningful action.

Protecting Ecosystems

We are guardians of beauty without labels, and we feel a responsibility to protect the beauty that exists on Earth. For this reason, DORA participates in urban regeneration projects and environmental restoration initiatives aimed at preserving and revitalizing local ecosystems.

Being Part of the Change

We are all part of nature, and respect for the environment is a fundamental requirement for a better world. There can be no inclusion without a planet to live on, just as there can be no truly healthy world without inclusion. That is why DORA actively takes part in environmental campaigns, events, and sustainability initiatives.

Improving Every Day

We respect nature through innovative formulations with a high natural-origin content and continuously explore alternative packaging solutions to reduce our environmental impact through increasingly sustainable packaging and shipping materials.
