20%of the DORA Gender Rights Fund is dedicated to community-based projects that advance gender rights and provide tangible support to transgender and non-binary people.

WHAT IS THE MICRO-GRANT?

REAL SUPPORT, WHERE IT MATTERS MOST

  • We fund high-impact local initiatives, including support services, educational programs, legal and psychological assistance, empowerment projects, and community-based activities.
  • Our goal is to extend our impact at a grassroots level by supporting organizations that create measurable, transparent, and meaningful change.

BUDGET & GRANT AMOUNTS

  • The Micro-Grant program is financed through the 20% allocation of the DORA Gender Rights Fund.
  • Number of projects funded: determined each year based on available resources and the quality of submitted proposals.

ELIGIBILITY

WHO CAN APPLY?

  • Organizations, associations, non-profit entities, and formally established groups operating in Italy.
  • Projects aligned with gender rights and support for transgender and non-binary communities.
  • Applicants able to report objectives and outcomes through verifiable impact metrics.
  • Number of projects funded: determined each year based on available resources and the quality of submitted proposals.

ELIGIBLE EXPENSES

WHAT CAN WE FUND?

  • Project materials and logistics
  • Professional fees related to project activities (support services, consultancy, facilitation, etc.)
  • Training and educational initiatives
  • Informational communication activities related to the project (excluding commercial advertising)
  • Administrative expenses directly connected to project implementation, where reasonable

Please note: We do not require sensitive personal data from beneficiaries. Whenever possible, we prefer aggregated or anonymized data.

SELECTION PROCESS

HOW WE EVALUATE APPLICATIONS

  • Applications are assessed based on:
  • Alignment with the Fund's mission
  • Expected impact and potential beneficiaries reached
  • Feasibility and clarity of the proposed plan
  • Transparency and reporting capacity
  • Local community engagement and collaboration
  • Measurable outcomes and key performance indicators (KPIs)

APPLICATION PROCESS

HOW TO APPLY

  1. Read the Call for Applications and review all eligibility requirements and deadlines.
  2. Complete the Application Form, including your project description, budget, and KPIs.
  3. Attach the signed Self-Declaration Form and any supporting materials (links, reports, presentations, etc.).
  4. Submit everything through the dedicated form below (or by email, if preferred).
  5. You will receive a confirmation of receipt. If selected, we will contact you regarding the Grant Agreement and implementation details.

TRANSPARENCY & REPORTING

ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Selected projects will sign a grant agreement outlining the funding amount, permitted use of funds, and reporting requirements.
  • We require a concise impact report detailing activities carried out, results achieved, and key indicators.
  • Project outcomes will be included in DORA's annual Impact Report.
